Shipping Information
Our carriers are generally shipped via USPS. Shipping costs are additional to rental fees and will be included on your invoice. Shipping is calculated based on the cost to ship items to you and back to the library.
Shipping for a single carrier in CONUS: $17 - $26 (est)
Shipping for up to 3 carriers in CONUS: $19 - $31 (est)
Please DO NOT ship to temporary addresses. Lost carriers will be charged the full replacement value.
You may pre-approve the shipping & fees to ensure faster processing and delivery. To pre-approve the shipping & fees please type "I approve a charge for this reservation and any associated shipping and fees" in the box below. Your card on file will be charged and you will receive emails with your finalized charges.
Your final shipping charge will be based on actual shipping rates at the time your items ship, for some heavier/bulkier carriers this may result in a higher cost than the above listed estimates.
What To Expect
Most of our items ship in boxes - many of which are reused/recycled to reduce your borrowing costs and support our mission of sustainability.
We ask that you save all shipping materials (box, protective bags, etc.) for when you return items to the library. If other shipping materials are used it may result in additional shipping charges being assessed. If your shipping materials are damaged please let us know as soon as possible so we can determine next steps.
If your item ships in a poly mailer we will generally include an additional self-sealing mailer for you to return your items.
Prepaid return labels will be provided - either in the box with your items or via email (for carriers sent borrower to borrower). These prepaid labels ensure the lowest shipping rate and that we can track packages so you do not incur late fees. If you lose your label and need another copy please just email us and we would be happy to provide one.
Your items should be shipped with USPS on or before your due date. Items do not need to be received at the library by the due date - they simply need to be accepted by the postal carrier.
